Dennis Gilman , Jun 8, 2009, 4:31PM EDTDo you mean "The Scream of the Crocodile"? I've finally decided what the main issue of story is and the main character's identity is being formed.
A group of foreign biotechnologists and medical doctors are setting up operations here in a remote area. The projected economic returns would wipe out our national debt and set us on the path to become the wealthiest nation in the caribbean. The demand for their product would that high.
Why are they using only foreign contractors (from Asia)? Why are each team only used for a month? Why are the teams from different countries?
His questions are ignored or rebuffed and he finds himself mired in mystery. When the threats (subtle at first) start, he must find the answers, but that puts his career and reputation at risk, then he must also consider not only his life, but that of his family.
Is it worth it or should he just roll with the tide and reap the benefits?

James T., May 26, 2009, 10:50AM EDTMaria,
Thank you for your comment on my photo of the Canadian goose. I've been trying to get back over to the park since it reopened for the year but lately it has rained every day here. Not complaining over it raining since we had been in a drought for the last several years so is nice to get some badly needed rain.
